Play Ball!

I was thrilled to get a call to do a birthday cake for a wonderful family friend, Chris. With a little help, his 8-year-old daughter, Caitlyn, was planning a sports-themed surprise party for him and wanted me to do a baseball cake, since that has always been his favorite sport. I did Caitlyn's scooter-themed birthday cake in October, so she knew she could count on me to get the job done! I love starting my clients when they're young ;) Happy Birthday, Chris!! Hope the party was fun and surprising. Good job party planning, Caitlyn!

  1. Oooooo! This is so sweet! (no pun intended!) The cake was an absolute hit! Beautiful, delicious, creative, lovely! Caitlyn was so proud to share the deliciousness
    with her dad!

The 8th birthday scooter cake you made for us was unbelievable! (We are still in awe over the fact that you made an edible scooter cake topper from scratch!)

And we knew, after the strawberry cupcakes you made for Caitlyn’s 7th birthday, we were hooked on Emily’s Custom Bakeshop for good! Not only were the cupcakes gorgeous and by far the most delicious strawberry cupcakes we ever had…the fact that you let Caitlyn design them and created exactly what she envisioned…brilliant!
As a birthday present, Caitlyn got to help Emily make the cupcakes and she had SO much fun (…so did our kitchen!)

Emily cares so much about every dessert “project” she creates! Each bite is flavorful and unique! Emily's Custom Bakeshop is our number one choice for all things dessert!
